Holding Your Phone Farther Away Just to Read?
Small print looks blurrier. Menus are harder to read. Near focus is not as effortless as it used to be.
These are common signs of presbyopia.
Rekulo® PresbyFocus Eyelid Micro-Mist combines a simple Closed-Eyelid Micro-Mist Delivery System with a near-vision optical approach designed around:
Pupil Control > Greater Depth of Focus > Easier Near Vision
Chosen by More Than 25,000 Users

Small print getting harder to read? You are not alone.
Presbyopia often starts with simple changes: holding your phone farther away, struggling with menus in dim light, or adjusting your reading distance.
Rekulo® PresbyFocus is already part of the daily near-vision routine of more than 25,000 users.
One product. One focus:Near-focus support for presbyopia.
What Users Are Saying
"I first realized something had changed when I noticed I was constantly holding my phone farther away."

"At first, I did not think I had a vision problem. I just noticed that small text messages were becoming harder to read.
I would automatically move my phone farther away, and sometimes I needed brighter light just to make the text feel clearer.
That was when I realized this was the near-vision change I had heard other people talk about.
What I like most about Rekulo® is the application format. I can keep my eyes closed while using the micro-mist instead of trying to aim a conventional dropper.
It has become a simple part of my regular eye-care routine, especially on days when I spend a lot of time reading my phone, menus, or documents."

Presbyopia Is About More Than Simply "Blurry Vision"

The medical term for age-related difficulty focusing up close is presbyopia.
Its most recognizable feature is not necessarily blurry vision at every distance.
It is the gradual loss of comfortable near-focus ability.
When we are younger, the eyes can rapidly shift focus between far and near.
Look across the room, then at your phone, then at a computer screen, then at a book - the focusing system normally adjusts automatically.
As natural focusing ability gradually declines, nearby objects become increasingly difficult to bring into sharp focus.
That is when familiar behaviors start appearing:
Holding your phone farther away.
Moving the menu farther from your face.
Increasing text size on your phone.
Searching for brighter light.
Squinting at small print.
Feeling like close-up reading requires more effort.
Why Does Moving Something Farther Away Make It Look Clearer?

One of the defining characteristics of presbyopia is that the closest distance at which the eye can focus clearly gradually moves farther away.
A phone that once looked clear at a comfortable reading distance may eventually begin to look blurry at that same distance.
Move it slightly farther away, and the text may return to a range that feels clearer.
That creates one of the most recognizable presbyopia habits:Your reading distance keeps getting longer.
A Modern Optical Approach to Near Vision

Traditional reading glasses add optical power to help with near vision.
Another modern approach focuses on Pupil Control + Greater Depth of Focus.
Aceclidine 1.44% activates the iris sphincter, creating controlled pupil constriction. A smaller pupil works like a camera aperture, reducing defocused light and increasing depth of focus.
Aceclidine 1.44% > Smaller Pupil > Pinhole Effect > Greater Depth of Focus
This is known as the Pinhole Effect, helping a wider range of near distances appear clearer.
How Is Rekulo® PresbyFocus Designed?
Step 1: Closed-Eyelid Micro-Mist

PresbyFocus replaces conventional open-eye drops with a simple Closed-Eyelid Micro-Mist.
The fine mist spreads evenly across the eyelid surface for quick, convenient application.
Step 2: Trans-Eyelid Delivery

The eyelid is not just a protective barrier. Its relatively thin skin has been studied as a potential route for delivering ophthalmic drugs to nearby ocular tissues. Research found substantially greater permeability through eyelid skin than through ordinary skin.
More importantly, a human clinical study applied pilocarpine spray directly to closed eyelids. All treated eyes developed measurable pupil constriction; mean pupil diameter decreased from about 4.1 mm to 1.5 mm within 30 minutes.
Animal pharmacokinetic research also found that eyelid-applied pilocarpine reached the conjunctiva and eyeball and produced sustained pupil constriction for up to 8 hours.
EYELID > ABSORPTION > OCULAR EXPOSURE > PUPIL RESPONSE
Step 3: Aceclidine + Pinhole Effect

PresbyFocus is built around Aceclidine 1.44%, the active ingredient used in VIZZ for adult presbyopia.
Aceclidine activates the iris sphincter muscle, producing a smaller pupil. The smaller pupil creates a pinhole effect, reducing defocused peripheral light and increasing depth of focus.
ACECLIDINE > SMALLER PUPIL > PINHOLE EFFECT > GREATER DEPTH OF FOCUS
The result: a wider range of near distances can appear clearer.
Step 4: Made for Everyday Near Vision

Presbyopia shows up throughout everyday life:
Phones · Menus · Labels · Books · Receipts · Documents
PresbyFocus is designed around these everyday close-up moments with a simple once-daily routine.
